A good poly with spin potential close to that of Pro Supex Blue Gear. The Spiky Shark is more durable than Blue Gear and maintains tension slightly better. The string just doesnt seem to want to pull through then stringer that well, and the initial drop in tension is great, but the power is not uncontrollable. Don't hybrid this string! You get plenty of feel and pop from just the Spiky Shark. Overall, for $12, a good string, just about what the package says. It's a superbly crafted string with good ball pocketing, spin, control, and power.
