The FASTT Patch is used to treat musculoskeletal system injuries such as bone fractures, tendonitis, sprains and strains, and bursitis, as well as post-surgical wounds and non-angina chest wall inflammation. It accelerates the healing of acute and chronic injuries and injuries caused by overuse of the tendon.
The FASTT Patch is a scientifically-designed Chinese herbal mixture attached to the highest grade, waterproof surgical tape available. When placed on the injured area, the herbal ingredients migrate slowly through the skin and increase the blood flow to the injured area and accelerate the healing mechanism, which facilitate the growth of the new tissue. This proposed mechanism was supported by the observation that the skin temperature in the area with herb coverage is higher than the temperature of the surrounding skin. The herbs also help increase the lymphatic circulation and accelerate the necrotic tissue break down, as we have observed that the bruises in the injured area can be cleared rapidly (within 24 hours) after the FASTT Patch was applied and noticeable pain reduction begins within a couple of hours when treating an acute condition. With a faster new tissue growth and dead tissue clear-up, the FASTT Patch is able to speeds up the healing of acute sprains, strains and fractures 8 to 10 times quicker. When treating a chronic condition such as a 6 months old tendonitis, patients will experience initial increase in sharp pain followed by pain reduction. Usage Directions:
Apply the patch to the injured area that it is clean and dry. Shave if necessary. Leave the patch on for 48 hours (2 days) for each patch. After 48 hours, remove the patch in a warm shower using extra soap. Take a 24-hour break before applying a new one. The tape is waterproof. Patients can shower or swim with it. Use vegetable oil to remove herbal residue on the skin and use Oxi-Clean to remove stains from cloth.
Avoid using ice on or near a patch at any time. Ice will slow and interrupt the healing process. A heat pad is helpful.
Size Recommendation:
Medium: Small bone fractures; Tennis Elbow, Rotator Cuff, Patellar tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel syndrome, TMJ, and other common injuries
Large: Wrist, tibia-fibula and other larger bone fractures; 2nd degree ankle sprains; AC Joint separations; hip and Achilles tendonitis
Precautions:
1. Avoid using ice on or near patches, as ice slows and interrupts the healing process. Heat pads are helpful.
2. Using patches that are too small to cover the injured area completely will not achieve optimal treatment results.
3. Avoid using the patch on damaged skin including scuffs, scrapes or scabs.
4. Pregnant women and people with very allergic skin should avoid use.
5. If the patient develops any adverse reactions including swollen lymph nodes, vertigo, or dizziness, remove the patch and contact us immediately.
6. There are no known contraindications to current medications.
